Description

Organising teaching programs on the creation, encoding and use of electronic texts, following mainly the TEI (Text Encoding Initiative) guidelines, widely accepted as a standard model.

All the documents and materials dealt with will be treated under confidentiality in all cases.

Added Value

The people who develop these workshops are professionals with significant experience in the handling of the TEI (Text Encoding Initiative) standards, particularly in what regards their applications of XML and HTML files for their handling in diverse institutional or corporate archives. In addition, this technology has proved very useful for information retrieval.

We offer personalised tuition and attention, including the use of Moodle, e-learning platforms and video tutorials, face-to-face and distance teaching, selection of additional teaching materials in order to respond to particular needs, etc.

Applications according to Sector

The standardised encoding of XML files facilitates the organisation and storage of very large quantities of texts and documents of diverse kinds. Text tagging allows an easier access to the data stored in the files both through specific in-text contents as well as through the information included in the metadata for each file.

XML technology can be applied to any field.
