Faculty of Philology

Description

We are offering language conuselling and/or writing of different business texts for their use in the corporate sector. We work with three languages: Galician, Spanish and English.

We are also offering teaching and advising on communicative skills and presentations for corporate and scientific activities. In addition, we provide facilities to learn diverse aspects of intercultural communication in order to enhance the promotion of corporate activity in each case.

There is also the possibility to work with other languages.

Added Value

The professionals in charge of this service are postgraduate linguists with a good knowledge of Spanish, Galician and English, and with a mastery of diverse communicative strategies, resulting from their studies and research in the field of discourse analysis, one of the numerous branches of Linguistics.

Applications according to Sector

One of the advantages of linguistic and cultural mediation is the way it facilitates a better understanding of our message. On a corporate level, it conveys a better description of the product we want to present or advertise. In science, on the other hand, communication techniques help to enhance the visibility of research results.

Often, both products and knowledge are not spread widely enough due to a lack of communicative skills and/or sufficient awareness of the culture and customs of our audience.

All the documents and materials under revision or translation will be treated with the confidentiality expected in such processes and in accordance with the current Data Protection Law.
